For Libya, the reopening of commercial routes with Europe and the rest of the world will end a sort of social embargo. Welcome to the new flights from Malta and soon, with the reopening of the Egypt Air office in Tripoli, with Egypt, but we need more. Greece is very close to reopening its skies but, we need EU flights as well.
The date for the 2023 edition of the Libya Build has been announced. A new Pavillion of 3800 square meters will be available for the local and international companies willing to enter the market. We believe that an improved political situation and these events like Libya Build will help the Libyan economy to recover and give more prosperity to Libya and the Mediterranean area.

Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, has given instructions to the Ministry of Transport to prepare a definitive timetable for the Tripoli International Airport project.
In the last few days, a meeting between the Italian company that has signed the contract and the government institutions was held in the presence of Ambassador Grimaldi Buccino.
On Sept.17th with the opening of the new terminal at the Misurata Airport, the first flight between Malta and Libya after several years has been scheduled.
The flights will be operated by Libyan Medsky Airways and Malta Med Air.

The United Nations Stabilization Fund announced that it has invested more than $95 million since 2016 to support municipalities and help the displaced people in Libya.
The fund's management clarified during its last meeting that it worked in 24 municipalities and helped them confront the Covid-19 epidemic by directing support to the health, water, and sanitation sectors in 2020.
The fund stated that it was able to improve the lives of more than 4.7 million Libyans, as the project facilitated community dialogue, supported reconciliation initiatives, and encouraged local elected officials and citizens to engage in collective decision-making.

The Director the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli, Faraj Drebeel, has met with the Greek Consul in Libya, Achilles Rakinas, in the presence of the Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of the Chamber, Tariq Al-Samoui, to discuss the necessary arrangements for the visit of a Libyan business delegation to the Greek capital, Athens.
The Man-Made River Authority (MMRA) will start drilling new wells and filling pipes in the Kufra Al-Serir system at the beginning of 2023.
Salah Al-Saadi, director of MMRA confirmed that the Turkish "Tekfen TML" will drill 186 wells. With this project, all of Libya will get a bigger delivery of drinkable water for home consumption or agriculture purposes.

The completion of the first phase of infrastructure projects in the Misurata Free Zone (MFZ) is done. Last Saturday in the presence of the Prime Minister, accompanied by several ministers, ambassadors, representatives of diplomatic missions, and senior guests a special event was held.
The importance of this project as the gateway to Africa will be crucial for the Libyan economic future.
