Fathi Mohammed,Head of the Project Department at Railwas Authority has declared the resumption of the implementation of three railway lines that have been suspended since 2011.

The estimated projects are the Ras Ajdir-Sirte line with a length of 600 km, the Sirte-Benghazi line with a length of 500 km, and the Al-Heisha-Sabha line with a length of 800 km, in addition to the design of the Benghazi-Tobruk railways with a length of 450 km, and Tobruk-Musaid with a length of 144 km.
