H.E. Ambassador Gianluca Alberini has been appointed as the new Italian ambassador in Tripoli. Ambassador Alberini had already worked as a commercial counselor in Libya.

The Italian Business Community will welcome him to Tripoli next June.

On Sunday, after several years, passengers and cars could travel on a ferry boat from Tripoli to Zarzis'harbour in Tunisia. This is the beginning of a long-term route to increase commercial services between the two countries.

A new shopping mall just opened in Benghazi this week. Libya Mall with its five floors and 30.000 squared meters is one of the biggest shopping malls in Africa today. Inside, there are more than 100 brands,10 restaurants and a 200-car parking lot.
