Turkey's exports to Libya are booming with an astonishing 89.2 percent in January 2022, referred to the same month last year.

After holding the Libya International Conference for Investment and Trade in the tourist resort of Qamar Desert in southern Libya last December, one of its recommendations was to establish an international forum in Tripoli, Libya, to be similar to the Davos Economic Forum. The Chairman of the Libyan-Turkish Business Council, Murtaza Karanfil, said Turkish exports to Libya has reached 2.44 billion dollars in 2021: a 64.9% increase from 2020.
The top exporting sectors were chemicals and products with $332 million, followed by the furniture, paper, and forestry products with $298.1 million, and jewelry with $281.8 million, while cereals, pulses, oilseeds products reached $251 million, and clothes with $246.5 million.
"Our trade volume might reach 10 billion dollars,” Karanfil said.
