The Tripoli agriculture fair will close today. Personally speaking, I think the sector has to come back to its ancient role, splendor, and importance in all  Mediterranean basin.

Libya was the barn of the Roman Empire. Some Libyan coastal areas or South Libya are sensitive to growing wheat and barley . The ideal climate, because rich of fossil water, for greenhouses.

What to say about Tarhuna's hills with its amazing olive trees that remind me of Tuscany or Abruzzi. If I remember, I read about a report in 2010  Libya has more than 8 million olive trees.

But the olive sector must be revitalized.

This can be the future for the Libyan young generation and for the New Libya that everybody is dreaming since 2011......
